Summer
Komikon really keeps getting better and hotter. We believe this year’s Komikon
really inspired a new generation of comics enthusiasts, hobbyists, geeks and
comics creators.

We (IKOS) came early to set-up and be the early bird buyers and made sure to get a copy of some of the comics that we really like. We were so early! There weren't any lines yet, there wasn't any crowd… yet.
Maybe a bit
too early; some of the exhibitors have not yet set up their booths or tables
yet. Some of the artists/groups that we were looking for were not yet there. No
worries, the geek part of us will always be hungry for more comics.
We also had
a blast as Indie Tiangge participants. We had a bigger selling space and
tables, very friendly co-paticipants (especially katabi naming sina Andoyman at
Dayo Comics), and a lot of new titles to buy from our favorite Indie Artists.
Another great part of the event for us is the last minute sold out for some of
IKOS’s titles.
Thank very
much for your support guys!
We also met a lot of new artists and readers, and made a lot of new friends. The SULSI gang sure is happy that a lot of kids and kids-at-heart bought a copy.
We are very
thankful for the added security and we felt safer.
Though they
look a bit like bouncers (para kaming nasa rock concert! Joke!)
We congratulate all the Indie Tiangge Graduates; Gio Paredes, Jon Zamar, Paul Michael Ignacio, Rh Quilantang, Aaron Felizmenio, Mel Casipit, Wan Malinao Mañanita, Kai Castillo, Edward Echavez, JP P Palabon, Maika Ezawa, Jonas Lechuga and , the valedictorian, Tepai Pascual. We salute you for continuously making an impact on comics community, and now moving up a notch.
